Feature Events
Day 1, Saturday 1st, will climax with a concert Potpourri Musicale beginning at 6pm. The concert features Cuban Latin Jazz saxophonist César López, Rapso superstars 3canal, Calypso legend, The Black Stalin, panman Ray Holman, Chutney-soca queen, Drupatee & singing sensation, Llettesha Sylvester.
Day 2, Sunday 2nd, will kick off with the CDA 5K Historical Commemorative Walk beginning at 7am at Samaan Park. Commemorate Dr. Eric Williams' epic march which ended Chaguaramas' 24 years of occupation by the US Naval Authorities.
Day 1: Saturday 1st May, 2010
On the opening day, Saturday May 1, the Festival will highlight outdoor activities such as sporting tournaments, aquatic competitions and nature tours.
- Mountain Bike Racing on Chaguaramas trails: 7am
- Farmers’ Market: 7am
- Pre-booked Nature Adventures
- Kayaking Races: 9am-12pm
- Dragon Boat Racing: 9:30am– 12pm
- Weekend Warrior Adventure Race: 1pm
- Potpourri Musicale: 6pm – 10pm
Day 2: Sunday 2nd May, 2010
The second day, Sunday May 2, will serve to bring together all the facets of the outdoors: history, culture and food of the peninsula at the Festival Village located at Williams Bay (next to the Kayak Center).
- CDA 5K Historical Commemorative Walk: 7am from Samaan Park, Chaguaramas
- Military Display: 2pm
- Pre-booked Nature Adventures
- All day Kayaking
- Sailing Outreach
- Children Activities
- DJ and Live entertainment
- Fish Fuh So booths with our finest local cuisine
The Festival Village
Festival Chaguaramas will serve to bring together all the facets of the outdoors: history, culture and food of the peninsula at the Festival Village. The Festival Village Includes:
- CDA Booth with Nature Adventure Information
- TDC Booth
- Farmers’ Market
- CDA Tenants’ Booth
- Main Stage & DJ Sound Station
- Seating for over 800
- 8 Food Booths, including the Fish Fuh So Booth

Venue - Williams Bay
Festival Chaguaramas activities will center around our Festival Village based at Chaguaramas' scenic Williams Bay, near the Kayak Center, just past the ALCOA.
