TENDER NOTICE
Tenders are invited for restoration works to be carried out for
St. Chad’s Church Restoration - Tucker Valley
Tender Documents
Tender documentation can be collected at the offices of the CDA located at Airway Road, Chaguaramas, upon payment of a non refundable fee of Five Hundred Dollars ($500.00) whether by cash or certified cheque payable to the Chaguaramas Development Authority.
Development Authority
Tenderers are required to complete and return the tender form together with the tender package.
Eligibility
The Tender is open to all construction companies who can demonstrate their ability to successfully complete this project in compliance with requirements of the CDA.
A brief description of similar type works and company profile must be submitted with the Tender.
Descprition of the Works
1. Careful removal and storage of existing architecture elements.
2. Repair of concrete arch windows and door openings.
3. Reconstruction of a timber truss roof, complete with steam bent timbers, mortice and tenor
pegged joints, oblique purlins and framed gables.
4. Reconstruction and installation of wood louvered windows, plank doors and all associated
hardwood trim.
5. Re-rendering the interior and exterior of the entire structure in traditional lime base render to
match the original.
6. Supply and installation of galvanized corrugated sheeting.
7. Grading and landscaping around the church yard to duplicate the original landscaping.
Pre-Bid Meeting
A pre-bid meeting has been scheduled for 11:00 am Wednesday 13th February, 2008 at the site.
Other
Late Tenderers will not be considered.
Tenders must remain valid for 90 days from date of closing.
A Performance Bond of 10% of the tendered sum would have to submitted by the successful tenderer within two (2) weeks after receiving the letter of acceptance.

The envelope is to be placed in Tender Box located at the CDA, Airway Road,
Chaguaramas no later than 11:00 a.m. on Friday 29th February, 2008.
