Scotland Bay has ruins of an old zoo, which was known as the Bronz Zoo, that was built by the Americans.
Scotland Bay was a recreation center for the Americans during their occupation of Chaguaramas from 1941 - 1972.
The recreational center consisted of Tennis and Basketball courts, and even a football field.
