La Chapelle Bay is located opposite the Coco Bay Leprosarium site, on the southern end of the island.
Both Dominican and American nuns stayed on this Bay.

The Dominican sisters got the the launch , which them across the bay to the settlement everyday.
The Dominican Nuns return to the island to have a ceremony for their fallen sisters who died on the island. In 1995 the service was carried out by the late Arch. Bishop Pantin.
