 Bolo Rocks is located just off the Southern Western Tip  of Chacachacare island.

In 1771 Chacachacare as well as Monos and Gaspar Grande were thriving whaling stations.

The whaling station on Chacachacare was located at Bulmer’s bay.

The Bolo Rocks are name after a slave. This female slave Bolo used to sit on these rocks during the day and will signal when whales where coming into the area by blowing a conch shell.
