Bolo Rocks is located just off the Southern Western Tip of Chacachacare island. |
In 1771 Chacachacare as well as Monos and Gaspar Grande were thriving whaling stations. The whaling station on Chacachacare was located at Bulmer’s bay. |

The Bolo Rocks are name after a slave. This female slave Bolo used to sit on these rocks during the day and will signal when whales where coming into the area by blowing a conch shell. |
