Crappo Scientific Name - Carapa guianensis Aubl Common Name - Crabwood A large evergreen tree reaching to heights of 50 meters with a 100 cm diameter. Brownish bark with long, wide flaking lamellous strips. General tall and straight trunk circular in shape. |

Flower: Small Yellow coloured and about 1cm in length Fruit: A capsule like shape, about 10cm in diameter. Approximately 12 brown seeds per capsule |
