Bois Canot / Bois Cannon Scientific Name - Cecropia peltata L. Common Name - Bois
Canot / Trumpet Wood Sometimes Silt-rooted, a medium sized deciduous tree reaching about 25 meters in height. The leaves are thin spread to the top of the tree (the crown) and they large and lobed. Brown to Grey and smooth bark, lightly striated, with numerous annular rings along the trunk. |
